"To Whom it May Concern"

Last night we twittered about  our current situation with Polo Grounds Music president Bryan Leech. Immediately following, we received texts from people saying "Take your twitters down, that man will blacklist you".. We thought about it and then asked ourselves:

Can he blacklist us from our fans?

Label politics are funny because it seems as though the belief is that if an executive is at fault and you publicly speak about it, you'll never see life again. More of these people need to stop power tripping and engage themselves in the most IMPORTANT part of the business..THE MUSIC. Without the music, that big ol' bentley they've been riding in doesn't exist. Nor do the fancy dinners with their mistresses, the money to keep their wives quiet, or their oversized offices with ridiculous amenities....but we digress..

A few hours after the text overload,  we checked our Nina Sky inbox and  saw that not only did our followers on twitter contact Bryan Leech for answers, they also copied us on the emails they sent . It reassured us that y'all are right here with us and we are genuinely appreciative of the support. We want the same answers you guys do and hopefully with all of our joint efforts, we'll get them soon.

Y'all are awesome.

See for yourselves:

Oh please. I've been a Nina Sky fan since 2004, and will continue to be one for as long as you make music and distribute it in any capacity.
HOWEVER, the mistreatment of you guys actually serves to reinforce how inspiring you really are. The successes you've experienced, the fans you've won, the credibility and acclaim that has been pouring in from other artists, from magazines and the media - all of that has been achieved independently. You've done so much creatively in the past 4/5 years that many of the artists in the charts right now will not achieve in their entire careers.

When I say you inspire me as a young woman, that really doesn't do any justice to what you represent: business-savvy, forward thinking, creative, humble and most of all, insanely talented.

Nina Sky deserves it's time to shine, and i've been anticipating the release of your album since forever, but everything you've done in between has been nothing short of amazing, and i'm sure you'll continue to amaze us.

and fuck Bryan Leech.

wow i sent him an email too but i kept it short and simple. i wasn't sure if he'd even read them but those two emails are deep and i hope he does read them and does the right thing. it's crazy how some artists out there sing about nothing and get major credit. here you girls have amazing talented voices and sing about serious stuff from the heart and don't get enough credit that you deserve. that frustrates me. i wish you girls nothing but the best and if he does release you girls i hope you find the right label to represent you girls finally!!

Dear Mr. Leech,

It has come to my attention that you have yet to release the new Nina Sky album which has apprently been finished for months. Is this part of the contract which was signed by both parties? If not, then why would you wish to dishonor the contract, thus committing acts of fraud and perjury? Or maybe it is because there is no lawful contract between both parties that can be produced under full commercial liability? If this is the case, then would you not also be committing an act of fraud by misrepresenting the situation to Nina Sky by not fully disclosing all available information to them?
I believe that it would be in POLO GROUNDS MUSIC`s best interest to fulfill any obligations they may have attached to Nina Sky, by not doing so would be considered by Determination by Proxy to be admitting that there indeed does not exist a contract lawfully binding both parties to any agreement and it would also be an admittance that POLO GROUNDS MUSIC has committed acts of fraud and perjury by misrepresenting the facts to Nina Sky that any agreement did exist between the two parties.

Sincerely and without malice, aforethought, ill-will, vexation or frivolity,
